We were so pleased to welcome Patrick Birdsall to our Speaker Meeting in April.
Patrick shared his (and his brothers’) memories of life in wartime Walkern. He also shared with us some amazing artwork by his brothers James and Tim.
It was a real pleasure to hear Patrick talk and also meet members of his family who accompanied him. Thank you to all the members and visitors who came to hear Patrick talk, a record 80+ audience. Thanks also to Eleanor for the butterfly cakes.
