The final full exhibition of the Life Stories Project will be held at St Mary’s Church on Saturday 3rd October.
This very special project has been running in the village since 2018 and involves long standing residents or people who have a long or strong connection with the village. Their life stories are a deep dive into personal and social history over almost a century. They are memorable, sometimes sad, sometimes humorous and always moving. All of the stories have now been collated into the Life Stories Book which will be launched at the exhibition. All of the participants will be presented with a complimentary copy as a thank you for their willingness to share their stories and participate in the project. There will also be a limited number of books for sale.
As well as the stories, there will also be an audio-visual presentation of all the participants with an extract from their stories. Combined with the beautiful black and white images, taken by photographer Rich Sissons, it will be an experience to remember.
Do come along between 10am and 4pm. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
