In August 2025, Walkern Hall held a Country Fair and Dog Show in aid of Essex and Herts Air Ambulance. WHS were invited to have a stall and demonstrate Straw Plaiting. We also had displays on Women of Walkern and the Pigeon Hut. This was a new event for the village and was really well attended bring a new audience to the History Society,
