The Walkern village fair in May 2024 provided a great platform to share our new skills in strawplaiting. In addition to the display and demonstrations of strawplaiting, we also had displays about Mary Andrews and other Women of Walkern.
It also provided an opportunity to show off the newly opened Pigeon Hut to the village, with tours being offered to explain the exhibits.
